Covid-19 Safety

I am now offering Telehealth therapy to new and exisiting clients on a secure HIPPA-compliant video platform. Sessions can be done via videoconferencing or by phone.

Where are you located?

My office is centrally located in the historic “Hacienda Del Mar” building in Carmel Valley, with convenient access to the 5 and 56 freeways. Surrounding communities include Del Mar, Solana Beach, Rancho Santa Fe, Cardiff by the Sea, Encinitas, Carlsbad, La Jolla, and San Diego.

Monday – Friday 9AM–7:30PM
Saturday by appointment only
Sunday Closed

Can I make an appointment on the same day?

Yes, absolutely. There are occasions that my availability won’t allow it, but I do everything possible to fit you in.

Do you accept health savings plans?

Yes, I accept FSA’s (Flexible Spending Accounts) and HSA’s (Health Spending Accounts) in place of out-of-pocket transactions.

Do you accept health insurance?

No, I am not contracted with any insurance companies at this time. I am an “out-of-network” provider.  Some PPO insurance plans will reimburse a portion of an out-of-network provider’s rate after a mental health deductible is met.  It is best to contact your insurance carrier to find out the amount of your plan’s mental health deductible. You will also want to know if any portion of it has been met, and what percentage of the rate is reimbursable.  If it is likely that a portion of your services may be covered, I will give you a superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

Do you offer a sliding scale fee?

No, unfortunately not at this time, but I do have discount packages available. Please call me to inquire.

What payment methods do you accept?

I accept cash, debit, or any major credit card. You can also use your FSA (Flexible Spending Account) or HSA (Health Spending Account).
