Are You Suffering
from Old Wounds?

Is traumatic stress holding you back from living the peaceful life you’ve imagined? Do you find your past memories replaying in your mind like a record player stuck in a vicious repetitive loop? What if you could stop reliving past trauma and gain relief from its debilitating symptoms?

If you struggle with trauma symptoms, I want to help you. I am an expert at helping my clients to get out of emotional pain and suffering and into healthy thinking and living. I specialize in using the newest, most cutting-edge neurological therapies for trauma and PTSD. These methods relieve suffering more rapidly and deeply thank other therapies. We reach the core issues that may not be in your conscious awareness.

What is Traumatic Stress?

Traumatic stress is an intense emotional and/or physical response to an unexpected or highly distressing event.   Immediate reactions include shock, stress, or even blocking out that the event happened. Traumatic events can be big or “small.” I consider anything to be a trauma if it is still bothering you because it still registers in the brain the same way.   The brain holds on to troubling memories and feelings and links them together during shocking incidents to be dealt with later.  “Later” can be the next day or years after the event happened. Belief systems are created around the event which linger into the present and can be conscious or unconscious.    There is no doubt that time helps this heal, but often the memory is still linked to the feeling and beliefs, even if they are not still happening. Since they are stored and “unprocessed,” anything can trigger them and one can suffer as if the event just happened.

What is PTSD?

PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) is a condition when a person has trouble regaining emotional balance after witnessing or experiencing a traumatic event. Unwanted distressing memories trigger intense emotional and physical reactions that can last months or years well after the event takes place. Common symptoms of PTSD include hypervigilance flashbacks, nightmares, uncontrollable memories, physical symptoms such as sweating, and avoidance of anything that would remind of us the event.

What Does Hyperviligence Feel Like?

Hyperviligance is a heightened state of awareness and sensitivity to one’s surroundings. Intense hypervigilance can cause one to be hyper-alert to perceived hidden dangers from people or their environment.  One may be hyper-attuned to things around them, continually checking their surroundings with anxiety. Others may be overwhelmed by certain noises or crowds, easily startled when caught off guard, or become overreactive with anger, anxiety, or fear.

When Should I Seek Treatment?

It is time to seek treatment when past unwanted memories cause significant anxiety and interfere with daily routines or functioning. The brain stores traumatic memories so that they are “frozen” in time. Time heals this but continued intense distress should be treated as soon as possible. Newer therapies target the brain’s processing center so that memories, feelings, and negative beliefs can be released. Why wait and live with suffering when you can gain relief from the struggle of living with emotional pain?

How Do You Treat Trauma and PTSD?

I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and ANSRS™ Emotional Relief to cut the repetitive loop of vicious trauma short. These modalities help the brain to process information correctly so that one can gain relief from reliving the trauma over and over again. We get to the root of the problem at its core, buried within the subconscious mind.

ANSRS™ is a cutting-edge neurological therapy that uses advanced voice technology to scientifically pinpoints the source of anxiety and relieve it at a deep level. This method provides the fastest and deepest release of debilitating emotional pain and anxiety I have ever experienced. I have used it with a countless number of clients and the results have been even more rapid and effective than EMDR alone. Both EMDR and ANSRS™ complement one another for a comprehensive approach. I personally know what it is like to be in the repetitive grip of trauma. Let me spare you some of the pain.
